Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire Blames Summer For Job Loss, Causes Tension With Kyle

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will grow impatient waiting for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to leave her nanny job. Victor thinks Claire would fit better in a Newman company role and wants to protect his granddaughter from the growing war between the Newmans and Abbotts, so he'll try to speed things up in the week of August 26.

Since Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) now basically works for Victor, he'll face pressure from "The Moustache." Victor often frames his orders as mere suggestions!

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Victor will discuss Claire's future and suggest it's time for a change. When Victor tells Kyle to find a new nanny, Kyle will ask if Victor wants him to fire Claire. Victor likely won't want Kyle to upset Claire, so he might say Kyle can handle it carefully.

Victor may not call it firing exactly, but he'll want Claire out of babysitting and back in the Newman business. Since Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will be ready for a new custody deal on August 26, Kyle may use this to his advantage.

Maybe Kyle will say he's trying to avoid solo choices now and is fixing his decision to hire Claire. Kyle might even hint the nanny change is part of the new agreement. At least Kyle could say the nanny job caused issues with Summer, and he doesn't want that to block cousin bonding.

Whatever happens, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Claire may feel shocked if Kyle says he's looking at other nannies for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell). This news might make Claire think Summer's behind it, so she'll confront her later.

Of course, Summer probably won't know what Claire means! This could make Summer mad at Kyle for keeping her in the dark, especially about childcare.

The truce between Kyle and Summer will be shaky, so more custody drama could happen. That's even more likely if Summer doubts Victor's influence on Kyle.
