Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon's Plot To Reunite With Nick, Cameron Says Phyllis Has To Go

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that "Cameron Kirsten" (Linden Ashby) is haunting Sharon Newman's (Sharon Case) thoughts, but he's really just a figment of her darkest musings.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Sharon is grappling with painful memories and disturbing ideas she'd rather avoid. "Cameron" is compelling her to confront these mental demons and wrestle with uncomfortable notions.

This sets the stage for some unexpected plot twists. The Young and the Restless viewers can anticipate some unsettling developments as "Cameron" nudges Sharon towards a darker path.

In a recent episode, "Cameron" proposed a way for Sharon to find true happiness for the first time since Cassie Newman's (Camryn Grimes) passing. He suggested that finding closure over Cassie's death by any means could pave the way for Sharon to reunite with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sharon rejected "Cameron's" attempt to blame Cassie for her breakup with Nick, but "Cameron" insisted they both knew who was really at fault.

Despite Sharon's efforts to banish "Cameron," he pressed her to admit her inner struggle so she could move forward. "Face it, then you can deal with what you know needs to happen," the Cameron vision urged.

It's telling that "Cameron" hinted at the actual culprit for the split and then alluded to necessary action. Doesn't this imply "Cameron" wants Sharon to eliminate Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)?

Sharon thinks Phyllis exploited the Cassie situation, sparking an endless love triangle. Sharon's attempts to reconnect with Nick have failed because Phyllis always lingers in his thoughts.

"Cameron" might eventually suggest Sharon can erase the biggest reminder of that awful period by removing Phyllis for good. Plus, she could ensure Nick never strays to Phyllis again. Will "Cameron" inspire Sharon to devise an end to Phyllis's scheme? Will "Cameron" argue that getting rid of Phyllis is the only real answer?

Sharon could target Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), who might also become part of Sharon's closure journey, but he's not the main issue. Phyllis has been a wedge between Sharon and Nick for ages, so it's easy to see why "Cameron" might push Sharon to remove her biggest rival permanently!
