Young and the Restless Spoilers: Ashley Spots Alan Fake, Worries About Traci's Safety Around Martin

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that viewers were thrilled when Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) hit it off in Paris.

However, now that they're back in Genoa City, the excitement is waning as suspicions arise that the good twin Martin might actually be the evil twin Alan!

Is Martin Actually Alan?

During their time in Paris, Celebrating the Soaps reports that Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) appeared out of nowhere and supposedly met his end. Yeah, right. This is a soap opera; any seasoned fan knows two things: 1. Death is rarely permanent, and 2. Evil twins have more lives than cats.

That's why some viewers are worried that poor Traci might be in for more heartbreak. It seems she's always living in the shadow of her stunning sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Just when we thought Traci had struck gold, she might have stumbled upon a ticking time bomb instead.

Will Alan Laurent Make A Comeback?

Martin fell to his death from a balcony. But how simple would it be to pull a switcheroo and have Alan take Martin's place?

The show is fueling speculation with minor inconsistencies, such as Alan not recognizing the Abbott mansion he's visited before.

Then again, they could set up an Alzheimer's storyline—take your pick. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Traci is basking in Alan's attention, and it's easy to suspect that a proposal is on the horizon.

Will Traci Abbott Get Married To 'Alan'?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Alan and Traci's romance is moving at lightning speed, but they did connect under intense circumstances, and both are mature enough to know that life is short.

It may be up to Traci's family, including Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), to suggest that Traci pump the brakes before rushing into marriage. Will Traci pull a Prince Harry and commit her life to a potential con artist?

Then there's Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who's set to return to town and possibly spot more inconsistencies with Alan. Unlike the others, she knows Alan well and might be able to sniff out any deception.

Well, this is a downer for Y&R fans.

Just as we thought Traci had moved beyond hand-me-downs to genuine affection, we fear she may again be on the receiving end of heartbreak. What's your take? Is she headed for emotional turmoil, or are we barking up the wrong tree with these concerns?
