Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon & Heather Clash, Claire & Summer Bond & Lucy Needs Help

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 30, tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will clash. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) urges the family to support Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O'Briant).

Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) chat awkwardly in the park. Summer apologizes for being so hard on her cousin. She appreciates how good she is with her son.

Summer tells Claire she heard about Victor Newman's (Eric Braeden) job offer. She hopes Claire will not take the job, as Harrison would be devastated. Claire appreciates Summer's kindness and hopes they can be close eventually.

Meanwhile, at Sharon's cabin, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon orders Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) to stay away. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) interrupts and questions Sharon's conversation.

Sharon tells Mariah she is angry at the world. She's worried about Faith and how bad this accident could have been. Mariah understands but urges her mom to relax as her sister will be okay.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Mariah understands this is difficult for Sharon. It's too similar to Cassie Newman's (Camryn Grimes). Sharon blows up. She snaps that she wouldn't see the similarities if everyone would stop reminding her.

Mariah apologizes, and Sharon acknowledges that this has been difficult. Mariah wants to take Sharon to the hospital, but she refuses. She wants to drive herself. Cameron is watching as Summer tries to convince Mariah she's okay. Mariah doesn't buy it and tells her mom she's very worried about her.

Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) discuss the accident's history at the coffee house. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick avoids negativity, focusing on staying strong for Faith.

Phyllis offers Nick support. They debate blame for the accident. Nick doesn't blame anyone for the accident. Phyllis notes Lucy's out-of-character actions and worries about Sharon's mental state.

Nick tells Phyllis that Sharon isn't improving. Nick wants to help Sharon, but Phyllis reminds him of his limitations.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis understands Nick's desire to help Sharon, but sometimes, he needs to let her help herself. He cannot do it all. Nick seemed uncomfortable not intervening with Sharon.

Phyllis tells Nick that she's officially worried about him and that there is nothing he can do about it. She hopes he'll contact her if he needs someone to talk to.

Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Grazeidei) and Heather discuss Sharon and Cassie at the hospital. Daniel struggles with guilt, while Heather urges him to stop blaming himself.

Lucy panics, thinking Faith has died. Her parents reassure her. Lucy sobs, blaming herself for the accident. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sharon overhears Lucy's distress. Mariah arrives, concerned.

Heather tries comforting Sharon, who responds coldly. Sharon glares at Heather with empty eyes.

Sharon is clearly embarking on a dark path and will target Lucy, Daniel, or Heather. She blames them for Cassie's death and Faith's accident. The hallucinations of Cameron are not helping matters.
