Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire & Kyle's New Chapter, Jealous Summer Wants Her Ex Back

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fall spoilers tease that tension between Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will intensify after Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) embarks on a new romance. Soap Opera Digest reports that Kyle will confess his feelings for Claire, prompting Summer to reevaluate her feelings for her ex-husband.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) questioned her daughter about her feelings for Kyle. Claire admitted she has developed feelings for her boss but refuses to act on them. She's never been in a relationship and worries about that transition.

Claire told her mom she was happy with his friendship. She didn't need to be in a relationship with him. However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle has other plans.

Soap Dirt reports that Kyle pulls Claire aside during the week of September 2. He will tell her he wants to take her on an official date. He could use this date to break the news that she could be out of a job.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants Kyle to fire Claire so she can work for him at Newman. Kyle refused, but as Young and the Restless viewers know, no one says no to The Great Victor Newman!

As Kyle and Claire publicly announce their relationship status change, Summer cannot help but feel jealous. She still loves Kyle deeply and cannot stand the thought of her crazy cousin being with him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Summer will try to break Claire and Kyle up. She plans to reconnect with her ex-husband, hoping they can reunite. The question remains: will Summer's meddling cause Claire to go down a dark path?
