Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Blames Chelsea For Blowing Up Sally Relationship

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers say that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will play the blame game during the week of September 2. She Knows Soaps reports that Adam wanted Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to keep quiet about their Baltimore hookup.

Adam believed Chelsea should keep their secret to protect their relationships with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chelsea points out that confessing was the right thing to do because the secret would have come out eventually anyway.

Chelsea feels awful about the situation and hopes Sally and Billy will forgive them. She understands Billy's hesitation on forgiveness, but remains hopeful.

Sally is not as forgiving. She doesn't trust Adam after he lied to her for weeks. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally pushes Billy not to give Chelsea a pass, either. Chelsea lied to him and kept the secret. The only reason she confessed was she had no choice.

After Chelsea chats with Adam, Soaps Spoilers reports that she asks Sally to discuss the matter with her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chelsea worries that Adam will blame her, but she refuses to shoulder the blame for it all.

Sally tells Chelsea that she doesn't trust Adam and doesn't see how they can stay together. Without trust, there is nothing. Chelsea understood and tried to change her mind.

Chelsea doesn't want Sally to give up on Adam. She tells Sally that Adam loves her and this moment doesn't have to end their relationship. Of course, Sally disagrees, pointing out Adam spent weeks manipulating her into believing she was paranoid and imagining things.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will refuse to forgive Adam. She feels that his dishonesty and repeated lying should end their relationship.
