The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 2 tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is preparing to let go of Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). Meanwhile, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) thinks about leaving Abbott-Chancellor.

In another twist, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) seeks Victor Newman's (Eric Braeden) help to take down Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She is still angry about Billy firing her and using her criminal history to oust her.

She Knows Soaps reports that Chance, once a Genoa City police detective, switched careers when Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) brought him into the family business. Y&R spoilers say that Chance has been watching things unfold and isn't happy with the company's direction. However, he knows he needs to be careful about his next move.

Chance shares his worries with Billy. Instead of addressing them, Billy assumes Chance is about to quit. Chance admits he's unsure.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle has something important to discuss with Claire. As Claire leaves the Abbott home, Kyle stops her and says they must chat.

Viewers may recall Victor wanting Kyle to replace Harrison Abbott's (Redding Munsell) nanny. Kyle refused, saying it would be too much change for Harrison. But it seems Victor will get his way.

The preview likely shows Kyle firing Claire. But what if Claire finds out Victor ordered her firing? Despite her "good girl" image, Claire might not take kindly to anyone controlling her life, even Victor.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily keeps her promise to fight back against Billy and turns to Victor for help.

In the preview, Lily tells Victor she wants his help to destroy Billy. Will Lily regret teaming up with Victor? One thing's for sure: Billy won't be happy!
