The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 3, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) gives Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) something to think about. Soaps Spoilers reports that Chelsea refuses to believe Sally and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are over.
Sally thinks Chelsea wants her to forgive Adam to absolve her guilt over Baltimore. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally refuses to give Adam another chance. She told herself she would never give him the power to hurt her again.
Before leaving for a work meeting, Sally told Chelsea she was focusing on the wrong thing. She should be getting with Adam so they can deal with their unresolved feelings.
After Sally leaves, Chelsea asks Adam what Sally means. Of course, he acts like he has no idea, but his facial expression reveals another story.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally arrived late to her meeting with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman), Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Henderickson). She appears distant and not paying attention.
After Summer and Lauren leave, Chloe asks what's going on. Sally reveals that she is done with Adam. She didn't give any details other than that she shouldn't have trusted him. Chloe is thrilled by the news but sad that her friend is hurting.
At Abbott-Chancellor, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) have a meeting. They go over the numbers and discuss ways to improve. Billy informs Chance of Lily Winters' (Christel Khalil) firing.
Chance cannot believe Billy would let Lily go. She knows the company and has helped it thrive. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Billy refuses to allow her to continue with the company.
Billy had a hunch Lily was trying to oust him. Chance asked if he had proof, which he didn't. That doesn't sit well with Chance. However, the truth is Billy was right. Lily was trying to deceive him and wanted to shove him out when that time came.
Chance told Billy he was acting recklessly and wasn't sure if he wanted to stand by him. He worries about Billy targeting him next. Billy shakes his head, telling him not to give him a reason to fire him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Lily meets with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She updates him on her Abbott-Chancellor firing and her disappointment in Billy's leadership skills.
Victor understands and hopes he doesn't run the company into the ground. She Knows Soaps reports that Victor asks Lily what she needs from him. She reveals that she wants his help to oust Billy, and in return, she wants her job as the CEO back at Abbott-Chancellor.
That might be a problem for Victor. He promised that job to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who stepped away from Newman Media for Adam.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will chat with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) next in a ploy to gain his support to oust Billy from Abbott-Chancellor.
