Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance's Co-Ceo Offer, Victor's Lily Plan & Billy Throws Jack Out

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, September 5, tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) runs into Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She tells him about Billy Abbott's (Jason Thompson) choice to remove her from Abbott-Chancellor.

Seeing Billy's erratic behavior, Jack promises Lily he'll talk to his brother and try to make him see reason.

At Newman Enterprises, Soaps Spoilers reports that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) informs Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about Billy firing Lily, who offered to help take down Billy in exchange for the top Chancellor job.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nikki still plans to be CEO herself. Victor suggests letting Lily think she'll get what she wants. But Nikki prefers being honest with Lily about a different role at the company.

Victor calls Lily in, surprising her when Nikki joins. Lily thinks Victor's ready to make a deal, but he has different terms. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Victor first asks Lily's inside info to judge its value. Lily seems caught off guard by this turn of events.

At Abbott-Chancellor, Billy argues with Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd), upset that Chance told Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) about the company issues.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chance surprises Billy by suggesting he become co-CEO. After Chance pitches himself as the ideal partner, Billy asks what happens if he refuses.

Chance says he'll turn in his resignation and wish him well. Chance sends Billy a detailed 10-year plan, urging him to see why he's right for the job.

After Chance leaves on Thursday's Y&R episode, Jack bursts in, criticizing Billy's self-destructive choices. Not wanting another lecture, Billy gets angry enough to kick Jack out of his office.

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) removes an eyelash from Kyle Abbott's (Michael Mealor) face at the Abbott house, telling him to make a wish as Harrison Abbott taught her.

With Harrison starting school, Kyle hints at reduced hours and asks if Claire might want a full-time job elsewhere. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Claire thinks he means Nikki's job offer, but she doesn't want to leave Harrison, especially after the recent custody issues.

Kyle admits things are looking better regarding custody, as he's working on a new deal with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). After explaining this, he asks if Claire still wants to stay on as the nanny.

Claire assures Kyle she does, especially since her work with Nikki isn't set in stone yet. That can wait for now. Kyle confesses he'd miss Claire if she left and suggests friends can have dinner together. Claire agrees when he asks about grabbing a meal or seeing a movie.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Kyle mentions people might misunderstand, but Claire doesn't care what others think. After years under Jordan's control, she's ready to do what she wants.
