Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally & Adam's Reunion, Courtney Hope Says Adam Is 'The One'

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) broke Sally Spectra's (Courtney Hope) heart when he cheated with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Adam then admitted that he had unresolved feelings for his ex-wife, a confession that sent Sally over the edge.

Soaps In Depth reports that Adam crushed Sally when she learned he had slept with Chelsea. What hurt even more was that he'd lied to her face about it several times. She says she's done with Adam, but could Sally possibly forgive him?

"It's hard to say," Courtney Hope told Soaps In Depth when asked. "I really like Adam and Sally together. They have great chemistry and bring out the best in each other. They have passion and fire but also deep love. So I'd love to think that maybe, with time, they could work things out."

The big issue now is that Sally's heart is in pieces. Celeb Dirty Laundry points out that it will take a while before she can even think about forgiving Adam for cheating and then lying to cover it up.

"I think Sally needs time to process everything and start to heal," The Young and the Restless star explained. "Adam will really need to prove himself too. She's worried about whether he truly loves only her and can be faithful. So, who knows, maybe they'll get a third chance down the road. We'll see.

"Right now, she's just trying to deal with the pain," Hope added. "She had just moved in with him and thought he was 'the one.' Her world is upside down, but she's doing her best to stay strong and keep her self-respect through all this. We'll have to wait and see what happens next for them."
