General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will soon leave the soap.

Reports surfaced weeks ago about her character being killed off. Monaco's mom confirmed her daughter's final scenes were filmed on September 27. Given the show's filming schedule, Sam's farewell is expected in late October or early November.

On October 6, Monaco posted an Instagram photo with her on-screen family, Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Lee Grahn), and Kristen Vaganos (Molly Lansing-Davis), captioning it: "Last scene with the Davis girls. 😘🥲🙏🏻 still doesn't make any sense to me."

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Sam recently told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) she'd search the river for the gun Alexis threw off the bridge. Alexis is in prison for John "Jagger" Cates' (Adam Harrington) murder, and Sam wants to clear her mom's name.

Given Monaco's announced exit and Dante's concern about "choppy" waters, fans speculated if Sam's dive would lead to her death.

The photo of Sam's last scene with the Davis women suggests Alexis is out of jail and Sam might not die in a diving accident. However, the scene could be a dream or filmed out of sequence.
