The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 10, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) meets with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in his office. Soaps Spoilers reports that Victor informs Kyle that he fired Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so he has fulfilled his part of their deal. He asks if Kyle has started on his end.
"It's already in progress. Jabot won't know what hit them," Kyle smiles.
Victor warns Kyle about the fallout. He points out that Jack and Diane will be furious when they learn what he did. Kyle agrees and cannot wait until they bring it up.
At Society, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) spots Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) at the bar. He asks her about her wedding and her mom, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Abby says she talked to her mother earlier and is excited about coming home for the wedding.
Jack tells Abby that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), sitting at a nearby table, may not want his company. Abby asks if she can help, but he declines as he walks to sit at her table.
Devon Winters (Bryton James) arrives. He tells Abby they have bigger problems than eavesdropping on Jack and Diane's conversation. "It's about the wedding," Devon says.
Y&R spoilers say Devon breaks the news about the wedding venue. The storm caused unexpected damage to the property, so the reservation was canceled. He called the backup venues, and they were all booked. He suggests they postpone the wedding, but Abby refuses.
She explained that her mom was coming to the wedding and could not change her plans. She cannot do that. The wedding was supposed to be a joint celebration of their union and her mother's homecoming.
Jack & Diane Learns Shocking News
At Jack and Diane's table, she dodges all his attempts to talk to her. Diane says she has nothing to say to him until Jack admits that Kyle has caused the tension. Their phones ping with a message from the Jabot PR department. They read the message and realized Glissade launched their new product.
She Knows Soaps reports that Diane points out that Kyle had to steal the formula from the computer. It was a top-secret project, and no one knew about it. Jack refuses to believe Kyle would do that, but Diane says it is the only way this could happen.
Jack decides to confront Kyle for stealing from Jabot. He adds Victor will be his next stop. He will make sure Victor and Kyle know this is not acceptable. Diane wants to go with him; Jack wants to do this alone.
After Jack exits, Victor arrives. He asks Diane if she feels better since her blowup with Jack at the GCAC. Diane refuses to listen to Victor. She says he won't get away with trying to destroy her family.
After Diane leaves, Abby greets her dad. She asks what he said to Diane to make her go so quickly. He refuses to say anything, asking if Jack and Diane have had another fight. Abby says they didn't fight. She noticed the tension, but that was it.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Devon appears and tells Victor about the wedding venue's cancellation. Victor says that is not a problem. He has the perfect place for the wedding. He won't say where but promises she will love the surprise.
Jack Confronts Kyle
Jack spots Kyle in the living room at the Abbott estate and tells him they need to talk. Kyle dismisses him, saying he is "killing his vibe." Jack accuses him of stealing the Jabot formula, but Kyle denies it.
Jack tells Kyle that corporate theft is a serious crime and he could go to prison. Kyle isn't worried because Jack can't prove it. They trade insults, which makes Jack even more upset.
Jack loses it after Kyle says business is about who crosses the finish line first. He tells him business is more than that. It's about respect, teamwork, integrity, and products. He shakes his head, claiming he doesn't recognize Kyle anymore.
Y&R spoilers say that Jack acknowledges Kyle is hurt and lashing out. But he went too far because this product was Jabot's anchor product for a whole new line. Now, the entire launch is compromised.
"You went too far, Kyle. Jabot hasn't had a product launch of this scale in over a decade. I just... I don't know if I can forgive you for this," Jack yells.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack warns Kyle that if he finds proof that Kyle stole Jabot's formula, he will hit him with a legal case. He won't let him get away with it. Jack cannot believe Kyle cannot see Victor using him as a pawn in his game.
"Okay, Dad, so you let mom fire me, and now you're going to have me arrested?"
Chance Questions Sharon
At the cabin, Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) tells Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that he wants to ask her questions about Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). She doesn't think she can help. It was a tragedy, and it was upsetting to hear about her death.
Sharon suggests he contact his friends on the force to get more information about the case. Chance lets her know he is back on the force. Sharon's eyes widen as she realizes he is there to question her about Heather's murder.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon thought Chance was happy at Chancellor Industries. He replies that it wasn't for him. She's glad he is back in the job he loves but hopes he doesn't "get shot again."
Sharon tells Chance she will help with Heather's investigation in any way she can. Chance is glad to hear this.
Chance asks Sharon about her tension with the Romalottis. Sharon explains that the car accident triggered memories of Cassie Newman's (Camryn Grimes) death. Sharon tells Chance that she has noticed tension between Daniel Ramolotti, Jr (Michael Grazaidei) and Heather in the days before her disappearance.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance asks Sharon what she noticed about Daniel and Heather. Sharon shares that there was tension about Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O'Briant) and their struggle to find jobs. She heard Heather wanted to leave Genoa City.
She explains that Daniel didn't confide in her, but she noticed tension in his family. Chance points out that Sharon seems nervous. She says this is uncomfortable to talk about. He agrees that it's hard when an innocent woman dies unexpectedly.
Chance steps away to take a phone call. After Chance exits, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) appears to tell Sharon she did great. She planted enough seeds of doubt to change the focus of the investigation.
Sharon starts to change her mind. She doesn't want to send Daniel to prison. He didn't do anything wrong. Cameron refuses to let her do that. If he doesn't go down for this, she will.
Y&R spoilers say Sharon proposes breaking into Daniel's apartment to retrieve the phone and bloody blanket. Cameron tells her that is a bad idea. She must lie to Chance and keep herself safe. If she confesses, her family will turn their backs on her, and her life will be over.
Sharon Confesses
Sharon tells Chance she respects him and is happy to call him her friend. Chance feels the same way. Sharon shares that she has been hiding something from him. She was with Heather the night she disappeared.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon explains that she went to Daniel's apartment to apologize to Heather and Lucy. When she arrived, Heather was home alone and seemed agitated. She mentioned she had just had a "big fight" with Daniel.
Chance asks if she revealed why they were fighting. Sharon says she didn't ask. They weren't close and didn't want to pry. She apologized and left. Chance asks why she didn't tell him this earlier. Sharon says that Daniel is already hurting, and she doesn't want to add to his pain. Knowing how upset Heather was with him in her final moments would break Daniel.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sharon's chat with Chance will change the course of the investigation. Chance will likely get a search warrant for Daniel's apartment and find her planted evidence.
