Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Dumps Chance After Daniel's 'Unfair' Arrest

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) might soon have a good reason to turn against Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). While Chance and Summer enjoy a warm, supportive bond, their relationship could sour soon.

The reason? Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is set on framing Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) for Heather Stevens' (Vail Bloom) death. If Sharon's plan works, Daniel could end up in handcuffs.

Needless to say, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that this will significantly impact his family.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Summer loves her brother dearly and will likely be furious if Chance arrests him. Chance may have no choice but to follow the evidence, but he could be led astray by the false proof and misleading clues Sharon has planted against Daniel.

Summer won't believe Daniel is guilty, no matter how bad things look. She knows her brother's heart and personally witnessed his grief over Heather. Summer will likely assume he's been framed and try to convince Chance of this.

Despite Summer's efforts to show Chance he's wrong, he might feel his hands are tied. Even if Chance has doubts, She Knows Soaps reports that the police chief might force him to arrest Daniel and put him behind bars.

Chance might fall for Sharon's setup - at least for a while. We know Chance has been asking about Daniel's arguments with Heather, so Sharon's actions will only fuel existing suspicions.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chance knows that in cases like this, a dead woman's partner often becomes a suspect. Though he cares for Summer, he can't ignore Daniel as a suspect just because he's her brother.

However, Summer might take Chance's actions personally and be shocked. If she has to watch Chance handcuff Daniel and feels it's unfair, she might find it unforgivable. Summer could consider breaking up with Chance if he has to arrest Daniel.
