Michael W. Robinson, 79, of Santa Claus passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his home in Christmas Lake Village. Michael was born on September 14, 1944 in Terre Haute to Lester and Eva (Biddle) Robinson. He was united in marriage with Joyce Rippetoe on December 25, 1965 in St. Joseph Church in Terre Haute.

Last year, My Sister's Keeper, Owensboro's newest emergency shelter for women and children, held its inaugural Summer Fest fundraiser at The Cottage, just outside the city limits. Summer Fest 2023 was an all day food and music festival that raised money for the shelter, which opened earlier this year at 2820 4th Street. Services Announced For Ohio County Infant Miya Rudd
OWENSBORO (07/17/24) – Services have been announced for the Ohio County infant reported missing last month and later found dead. Eight-month-old Miya Rudd had been reported missing after a welfare wreck of the child’s home in the Reynolds Station area on June 5th, with the body later found over a week later. Rudd’s parents, grandfather and another man have been charged in connection to the disappearance and death. A Remembrance Service and Candlelight Vigil will be held next Thursday (07/26) evening at Pleasant Valley Community Church in Owensboro. The Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro is in charge of arrangements.
