Judith “Judy” Nell Boswell, 77, tossed her wheelchair to the side and sprinted into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday July 16, 2024. Judy was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on March 7, 1947 to the late Ralph and Edna Boswell. She was their first-born blessing which provided her with an incredible amount of strength and perseverance (some might call it stubbornness). Judy would grow to need this tenacity after contracting Polio at the age of 5. She was truly a miracle child and, after a long stent in the Iron Lung, survived even when her team of doctors told her mother there was no way. Although the disease stole her ability to freely move her arms and legs, it never could quite steal her joy or her will to live life to the fullest.
