(HOUSTON, TEXAS) -- If you’ve read the news or scrolled through social media lately, you probably know about Gabby Petito. A travel blogger and influencer, Petito’s case has grabbed attention across the US and around the world. Her remains were found, but the search continues for her boyfriend Brian Laundrie, according to CNN.

The national conversation has shifted toward criticism as people question how missing person cases involving white women are supposedly more likely to gain the spotlight, while BIPOC cases are overlooked.

Do you know Gabriel PARENTS did the legwork for her search? THEY personally called everyone they could think of calling. media. newscasts. every missing persons association. talk show hosts. They used funds, took loans. did go fund mes. You can NOT sit back and not do anything, then complain that 1 person got more attention then another. There was PROOF she was in danger. And did you know that after she was found they CONTINUED to collect, so they could open their own missing persons branch??? Thats right.... THEY are looking for other people now. They hit such road blocks, that they now are a source. Everything from contacts to searches. I cannot believe people are jealous of white, EVEN AFTER THEIR DEATH!!
