Rodon leads the Shutout of Rangers as Yankees 8-0 at the Stadium

Bronx, NY (New York Yankees App) August 10, 2024 - Carlos Rodon was strong on the mound for the Yankees as he set the tone for a 8-0 shutout win over the Rangers in game 1 of another doubleheader at the stadium. Rodon went 5.2 innings with five walks and six strikeouts. This was his fourth consecutive solid start for the Yankees.

Yankees catcher Autin Wells led the Yankee offense going two-for-five with a double, single and 4 RBIs . Aaron Judge had three hits with a double and two runs scored from the designated hitter position. Jazz Chisholm, who played third base and center field in the game, hit a 416 foot solo home run in the bottom of the eight for the Bombers.
