Bronx, NY (New York Yankees App) - Cleveland was held hitless by starting pitcher Geritt Cole and the bullpen after a leadoff single as the Yankees pounded Cleveland 6-0 at Yankees stadium on Thursday afternoon.

Cole managed his way through a spotty-but-still six scoreless innings of one-hit baseball, while getting support from the big bats of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. Judge hit his 48th home run of the season with a flick of the bat into right field. Stanton joined in on the action going into his bag of home runs with a jaw-dropping 417 foot homer into the distant reaches of center field.

The Colorado Rockies come into the Bronx for a three-game set starting on Friday at 7:05 with Carlos Rodon on the mound.
