Motorcyclist Dies In Loveland Crash
A crash at Taft Avenue and First Street in Loveland Tuesday left a motorcycle driver dead. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the man was traveling north on Taft when the sedan hit him as its driver attempted to turn left from southbound Taft onto First Street, despite the motorcyclist having the right-of-way. Police say the driver of the sedan fled the scene after hitting the motorcycle, which burst into flames. Officers responded to the crash site and were able to put out the flames with fire extinguishers in minutes. The motorcycle driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Snowmobile registration fees could go up by this time next year
Registering your snowmobile might become more expensive in Wyoming. The hope is this will save the budget of a state trails program. Over the last two months, Wyoming lawmakers on the Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resource interim committee have been hearing from the snowmobiling world. Two main takeaways: Wyoming is world renowned for the sport and is seeing more users every year. But, the upkeep of trails along with inflation is putting the state trails program in the hole – to the tune of about half a million dollars a year.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Much of eastern Wyoming is now under an air quality alert until 1 p.m. Wednesday. 2024 Rendezvous Balloon Rally Flew Two of Three Days
The 44th Annual Riverton Rendezvous Balloon Rally flew on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday's launch was scrubbed due to wind. Twenty balloons from around the globe, 17 from the USA, two from Canada and one from Belgium made up the field this year. Specialty balloons included Baby T-Rex from Vernal, Utah; Humpty Dumpty from Louisville, KY and the celebrity speaker Peter Van Overwalle's Princess Nelly from Nazareth, Belgium.
