Tenth Anniversary of the de Golyer Bucking Horse & Bull Bash Ribbon Cutting
Cody and Kristina, de Golyer Bucking Horse and Bull Bash founders, hosted their tenth anniversary show last Saturday, June 29. In celebration, de Golyers held a ribbon cutting ceremony last Thursday at the Churchill County Fairgrounds where the event is held each June. Putting on an event like this is no small feat, according to Kristina, who said they waited to hold the ribbon cutting until they were certain the rodeo was viable. And viable it was, with their family-friendly hometown rodeo a sell-out Fallon event.
Battle of the Badges pits CCSO against police
The teams are set, and as famous ringside announcer Michael Buffer would bellow, “Let’s get ready to rumble.”. And rumble they will as community volunteers and employees from the Fallon Police Department and the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office will stick their best arm (and vein) forward in the sixth annual Battle of the Badges.
