Smoothie King Is Gearing Up to Debut its First Outpost in Cibolo

International beverage chain Smoothie Kin g is planning to expand its San Antonio-area footprint, according to a permit application submitted to the State of Texas on February 12.

Seeking permission to construct a new outpost in Cibolo at 857 Cibolo Valley Drive — near establishments such as Chick-fil-A, Tiff’s Treats, and Zaxby’s Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — should the project proceed as anticipated, the outpost will mark the city’s first Smoothie King.

What Now San Antonio contacted the location’s franchisee, Sandy Chandrahasan , to inquire about the expansion, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Construction is slated to begin on March 1 and be completed on July 30. For an estimated $160,000, Denton-based design firm Richmond Group will carry out the development, described as an “interior finish-out.”
