Joe Burrow is the leader of the Cincinnati Bengals' offense. And apparently he also takes care of his friends.

Burrow, along with teammate Ja'Marr Chase, celebrated Fourth of July by attending Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin's annual White Party. Jake Paul, a YouTuber, actor and boxer from Cleveland, was also in attendance and recently told a story from the gathering.

"So we got to the White Party. I said I wasn't going to drink. Then, I had a bunch of drinks," Paul recalled on his "BS with Jake Paul" podcast.

It was the first time he had drank in a while, he revealed, so the alcohol hit him hard.

"I was way too gone," the 27-year-old said.

Burrow then stepped in to save the day. Or at least he tried.

"Joe Burrow was like 'Yo bro, I need to get you some water.' And he got me some water," Paul said.

But the kind gesture didn't help all that much.

"It didn't help at all, actually. I'm pretty sure it got worse after that," he added.

Paul still won his latest boxing match, though, knocking out Mike Perry on Saturday. Burrow, on the other hand, starts training camp with the Bengals this week, as the quarterback looks to bounce back from an injury-riddled season.
