    See which Southwest Ohio players earned All-American status in high school lacrosse

    USA Lacrosse magazine in July announced All-Americans for the 2024 high school lacrosse season.

    USA Lacrosse oversees the selection of the All-Americans and other high school awards, which are administered locally by area chairs. Selections are based on voting by coaches within each geographical area.

    USA Lacrosse also honored All-Academic players.

    A USA Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field and represents high standards of academic achievement in the classroom.

    Here is the full list of Southwest Ohio honorees.

    Boys lacrosse

    Local All-American honorees are Zach Gleason (Loveland), Brennen Hickey (Moeller), Luke Barkimer (Milford), Trent Yelton (St. Xavier), Khalif Hocker (St. Xavier), Scott Michaud (Springboro) and Creed McDonald (Springboro).

    All-Academic honorees were A.J. Johnson (Kings), Max Stallmeyer (Elder), David Neville (Elder), Luke Sprong (St. Xavier) and Chris Reuter (Summit Country Day).

    St. Xavier lost in the Division I state finals . Hocker was the only local first-team all-Ohio pick in Division I.

    Girls lacrosse

    All-American honorees are Sami Drew (Kings), Michelle Lindberg (Indian Hill), Lexi Larsen (Indian Hill), Jordana Ronis-Tobin (Sycamore), Caroline Ling (Springboro), Brynna O’Brien (Mariemont) and Carly Thiel (Sycamore). Ling was Ohio co-attack of the year.

    All-Academic honorees include Amelia Macura (Loveland), Kenzie Beck (Kings), Grace Sims (Kings), Iris Katz (Summit Country Day), Marie Flessa (Walnut Hills) and Roxy Sorensen (Wyoming).

    Kings played in the Division I state semifinals for the first time, while Indian Hill lost in the DII state semis .
