    Northern Kentucky high school football scores, Week 2

    Week 2 is upon us in Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana high school football.

    Week 1 was loaded with action. Ryle upset Covington Catholic, the Raiders' first win over the Colonels since 2016. Campbell County's offense exploded for 63 points against Scott, and East Central defeated Lawrenceburg for its 22nd straight win.

    Cooper outgained Henry Clay 354 to 87, allowing just three first downs all game. The Jaguars scored 41 points in the first half. Keegan Maher gained 114 yards and scored four touchdowns on just seven rushes, and Cam O’Hara completed eight of nine passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns.

    Highlands sent Covington Catholic to 0-2 in the 78th playing of the rivalry game. The Bluebirds’ rushing attack led the way, as they went for 262 yards on 43 carries (6.1 yards per carry). Jack White went for 124 yards and a touchdown, with Gabe Williams following up with 61 yards and a score on six carries.
