Cincinnati Bengals rookie punter Ryan Rehkow's 80-yard punt during the first quarter of Sunday's season opener against the New England Patriots at Paycor Stadium was the longest in team history.

The record was previously set by Kyle Larson, on a 75-yard punt in 2005.

Rehkow, who played college football at BYU, signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent in July, and won the job as the team's starting punter.

Rehkow had a 70-yard punt during the fourth quarter.

"Ryan Rehkow has a tremendous leg!" CBS play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle said during the fourth quarter of the broadcast.
