    Ken Anderson, Boomer Esiason, Isaac Curtis are senior player Hall of Fame ballot nominees

    Former Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks Ken Anderson and Boomer Esiason joined former wide receiver Isaac Curtis and defensive back Lemar Parrish on the list of 183 senior player nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025, which was announced Tuesday night.

    Although players aren't designated by the Hall of Fame for a specific team, former Bengals enshrined are Charlie Joiner (1996), Anthony Muñoz (1998), Terrell Owens (2018) and Ken Riley (2023).

    The requirements for being a senior player nominee are that a nominee is 25 years removed from playing, had at least five years of service in the NFL and had at least one recognized postseason honor.

    Anderson played 16 years for the Bengals and was the 1981 NFL MVP and 1975 Walter Peyton Man of the Year, among other awards.

    Esiason played 14 years, 10 of which were with the Bengals, and was the 1988 MVP and 1995 Walter Peyton Man of the Year among other awards.

    Curtis played 12 years for the Bengals and was a four-time Pro Bowler and led the NFL in yards per reception in 1975, among other achievements.

    Parrish played 13 season, eight of which were with the Bengals, and was an eight-time Pro Bowler and was named First-Team All Pro in 1979, among other achievements.

    Also on the ballot, Jack "Hacksaw Reynolds was born in Cincinnati and graduated from Western Hills and Tom Jackson resides in Greater Cincinnati.
