The faceoff between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump went down Tuesday night as both candidates addressed major issues involving the economy, abortion rights and the southern border .

Following the debate, Trump said that it was his "best debate ever," adding that the moderators were biased against him.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift endorsed Harris and Tim Walz in the upcoming presidential election in an Instagram post , just minutes after the debate. "I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them," the singer posted.

The vice-presidential debate is up next, with candidates JD Vance and Tim Walz taking the stage on Oct. 1, hosted by CBS News.

Now that the first Harris-T r ump debate is over, the question remains: Will there be a second one?

Will Harris and Trump debate again?

Trump's campaign said that he had already accepted an invitation for a second debate on Sept. 25 with NBC News, according to Scripps News , but now the likelihood seems uncertain.

"They want another debate because they lost," Trump said last night to reporters in the spin room. He then told Fox News on Wednesday . “I’d be less inclined to because we had a great night. We won the debate. We had a terrible, a terrible network.”

Jen O’Malley Dillon, Harris-Walz campaign chair, called for a second Harris-Trump debate in October. "Vice President Harris is ready for a second debate," Dillon said. "Is Donald Trump?"

Why are these “debates” always held on left wing news channels? Why not take questions from the public in a neutral space? It’s old, worn out, and needs to be updated.
