    Report: Ja'Marr Chase won't negotiate with Bengals this season, took out insurance policy

    Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has no plans to revisit contract negotiations during the season and took an insurance policy out to protect himself in case of a severe injury, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter .

    Chase "has no plans to negotiate a long-term deal this season," Schefter reported after the Bengals and their top wide receiver were unable to reach terms on a new deal this offseason.

    Schefter also reported Chase, who's under contract this season and next, took out a $50 million insurance policy to protect himself in the case of a severe injury before he has a new deal in place.
