Country music star Zach Bryan was busy rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

The Bengals (0-2) lost their Week 2 game to the Kansas City Chiefs following a walk-off field goal by Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker .

Their performance during the game, however, seemed to have Bryan, from Oologah, Oklahoma, optimistic about their chances for the rest of the year.

"This is when the Bengals start their three peat run, I know it’s only the second game of the season but why not right," Bryan wrote on X shortly after Cam Taylor-Britt intercepted Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter.

The post was one of many from Bryan during the game.

He also said "NOOOOO DONT CALL IT BACK," after an illegal contact penalty reversed a D.J. Turner interception. Bryan then posted "THANK YOU GOD" after Taylor-Britt's pick on Mahomes.

The "Something in the Orange" singer later wrote multiple posts shortly after the controversial ending, which saw a pass interference call on fourth and 16 against Bengals rookie defensive back Daijahn Anthony set up the Chiefs' game-winning field goal.

"Taunting" he wrote, before posting "Is the NFL gaslighting us guys," six minutes later.

Bryan has made his fandom for the Philadelphia Eagles apparent in the past , so he may have been rooting against the Chiefs due to Kansas City beating the Eagles in Super Bowl 57. That reasoning, however, has not been 100% confirmed.

The Bengals host the Washington Commanders at Paycor Stadium for Monday Night Football on Sept. 23. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m.
