This Donald Trump-themed store draws praise, scorn

Good morning! Scott Wartman here. I cover politics for The Enquirer.

I noticed some chatter recently regarding a store along Beechmont Avenue . You can’t miss it. Numerous flags and signs with Donald Trump's name and likeness grace the facade of the former automotive repair shop.

The Trump Store sells anything you could think of with Trump’s likeness on it: hats, shirts, knives, even a troll doll made to look like Trump with his distinctive hairstyle.

It has also attracted complaints , including a zoning citation, from Anderson Township. The store is part of a growing trend of brick-and-mortar Trump stores popping up around the country. They aren’t affiliated with the campaign .

I visited the store to find out who’s behind it and why.
