After an 0-3 start, the Cincinnati Bengals are dealing with a few stars on the injury report ahead of a must-win game this weekend against the Carolina Panthers.

Fresh off his breakout performance in Monday's loss to the Commanders, wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was limited Wednesday with a shoulder injury, according to the team's first injury report of Week 4.

Defensive end Trey Hendrickson, the Bengals ' only effective pass-rusher through the first three weeks of the season, did not practice due to an illness.

Cincinnati's defensive line has been plagued by injuries all season. The Bengals' two starting defensive tackles, Sheldon Rankins and B.J. Hill , each missed Monday's loss with hamstring injuries and did not practice on Wednesday.

Rookie Kris Jenkins Jr. , who made his NFL debut Week 3 with a club on his surgically repaired thumb, was a full participant.
