The Cincinnati Bengals (0-3) face the Carolina Panthers (1-2) in NFL Week at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Cincinnati is coming off a Monday Night Football loss to the Washington Commanders and Carolina is coming off its first win of the season at the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Enquirer/Cincinnati.com staff of experts is 1-2 picking the Bengals' games thus far.

    Bengals vs Panthers prediction, odds

Odds according to BetMGM as of Friday afternoon.

    • Spread: Bengals by 4.5 (-110).
    • Moneyline: Bengals -225, Panthers +180.
    • Point total over/under: 47.5 (-110).

Kelsey Conway , The Enquirer: The Bengals will put up at least 40 points in this game. Carolina is still years away from being able to compete and I expect the Bengals to thump the Panthers the same way they did the Falcons in 2023. Bengals 42, Panthers 17

Jason Williams , The Enquirer: Former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is 2-1 all-time vs. his old team, and he'll be motivated to try to keep Cincinnati winless. Both defenses are terrible. So it'll come down to which team has the better offense in this battle of the bad. Give the slight edge to Cincinnati. Bengals 34, Panthers 31

Charlie Goldsmith , The Enquirer: The Bengals don’t really have much to gain this week. A loss would ruin their season. A win over the worst team in the NFL from 2023 wouldn’t ease many concerns about the Bengals’ roster in 2024. Joe Burrow’s steady performance can guide the Bengals through this one. Bengals 24, Panthers 17

Jason Hoffman , The Enquirer: Joe Burrow and Andy Dalton were the only two quarterbacks to throw for 300+ yards and three touchdowns last week and don't look for the scoring to slow down with these two defenses this week. Cincinnati does enough to pick up momentum before the Baltimore Ravens come to town next week. Bengals 34, Panthers 28
