Will the Taco Bell and Mountain Dew Baja Blast pie finally make its way to fans? According to one influencer, Baja Blast lovers might be closer to experiencing it for themselves.

Taco Bell is no stranger to dropping new items, as the chain has hosted a series of giveaways in honor of its 20th ‘Bajaversary,’ debuting its new Baja Blast-flavored gelato earlier this month, and giving away limited edition Stanley cup tumblers in August. The restaurant also moved National Taco Day to fall on Oct.1, the ultimate "Taco Tuesday."

The next special release from Taco Bell could just be a Baja Blast pie. Here's what we know.

Taco Bell could release a Baja Blast pie by the end of 2024

Is the Baja Blast pie finally headed to stores? One influencer seems to think so.

Social media foodie Snackolator shared several Taco Bell releases that are still to come. In a recent Instagram video , Snackolator says that Taco Bell "confirmed that the Baja Blast pie is going to make it to stores after all," adding that it will probably come later in the year.

Taco Bell teased the items that it was testing at its “Live Más Live” event earlier this year, which included the Baja Blast pie.

"It's honestly the best thing I've probably ever eaten. This could bring a whole new tradition to the holidays," said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell's global chief food innovation officer at the event .

The pie, which has a deep turquoise color just like the soda, was described by The Daily Meal as a "dense, buttery curd, full of that wonderful sweet-tart flavor we expect." They praised the pie's smooth texture, and its whipped cream topping complete with lime zest.

The fast food chain will continue to roll out deals and giveaways throughout the month of October, including free tacos on Tuesdays for a year . The company also plans to give away exclusive merch like 500 "hoodie and cup bundles" for its Rewards members via the Taco Bell app.

Where to find Taco Bell in Ohio

Taco Bell has 25 locations in Columbus, 19 stores in Cincinnati, eight in Cleveland and seven in Akron. The rest of Taco Bell's more than 250 Ohio restaurants can be found on their website .
