With 1,950 regular-season wins as manager of the Philadelphia Phillies , Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Guardians , new Cincinnati Reds manager Terry "Tito" Francona ranks 13th among MLB managers in career wins.

Ten of the 12 managers ranked above Francona are National Baseball Hall of Famers, including legendary former Reds manager Sparky Anderson and longtime Dodgers manager Walter Alston, who attended Miami University in Oxford, and grew up in nearby Darrtown, Ohio.

Former Reds manager Dusty Baker and current Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy are expected to be Hall of Fame managers when they are eligible.

Francona needs 59 regular-season wins to pass Leo Durocher (2,008), and 91 wins to pass Alston (2,040). Joe McCarthy ranks 10th all-time with 2,125. Connie Mack ranks first with 3,731. Anderson ranks sixth with 2,194. Baker is seventh with 2,183.
