Just in time for Blink , a new immersive suite at 21c Museum Hotel in downtown Cincinnati lets guests practically sleep inside an art installation.

"Nightwatch," an immersive art suite at the hotel, is designed by renowned artist Chris Doyle. By day, guests can enjoy custom-designed carpets, curtains and a surreal landscape wall-covering inspired by the 1940 animated musical anthology film "Fantasia."

And by night, things get lit.

With the flip of a switch, guests can turn on a searchlight that casts geometric shapes and animals across the room, immersing themselves in their very own light projection show.

"'Nightwatch' is designed to immerse guests in the unseen wonders of the natural world,” Doyle said in a press release, adding that the moving light is meant to remind people of the "vibrant life that continues while we sleep."

Beyond "Nightwatch," Doyle’s work has been exhibited around the globe at places that include the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the San Jose Museum of Art.

21c Cincinnati, located at 609 Walnut St., is donating $21 from each "Nightwatch" stay to ArtsWave , the nonprofit promoting arts in Greater Cincinnati.

Those interested can contact 21c Cincinnati for availability and pricing.
