    When is trick or treat in Greater Cincinnati? Dates and times for 2024

    Spooky season has arrived, which means the return of the time-honored tradition: trick-or-treating.

    Soon, children across the region will suit up in their finest costumes to make the honorable trek for their favorite candies . For most communities, trick or treat, called Beggars' Night by some, occurs from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, or Halloween night. Some areas, however, have adjusted the hours.

    Cincinnati communities

    Here are the communities in Cincinnati hosting trick or treat from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.

    *Indicates 2023 time. 2024 time has not yet been announced.

    Butler County: Fairfield, Fairfield Township, Hamilton, Liberty Township, Middletown, Monroe, Trenton and West Chester Township.

    Clermont County: Bethel, Goshen, Miami Township, Milford, New Richmond, Pierce Township and Union Township.

    Hamilton County: Amberley, Anderson Township, Blue Ash, Cheviot, Cincinnati, Colerain Township, Columbia Township, Crosby Township, Deer Park, Delhi Township, Elmwood Place*, Evendale, Fairfax, Forest Park, Golf Manor, Green Hills, Green Township, Harrison, Harrison Township, Indian Hill, Lockland, Loveland, Madeira, Mariemont, Montgomery, Newtown, North Bend, North College Hill, Reading, St. Bernard, Sharonville, Silverton, Springfield Township, Sycamore Township, Symmes Township* and Wyoming.

    Warren County: Carlisle, Clearcreek Township, Corwin, Deerfield Township, Franklin, Maineville, Mason, Morrow, Springboro and Union Township.

    Northern Kentucky communities

    Here are the communities in Northern Kentucky hosting trick or treat from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.

    Boone County: Florence, Union and Walton.

    Campbell County: Alexandria, Bellevue*, Cold Spring, Dayton, Fort Thomas, Newport*, Silver Grove and Wilder.

    Gallatin County: Warsaw.

    Grant County: Williamstown, Crittenden and Dry Ridge.

    Kenton County: Bromley*, Covington, Crescent Springs, Crestview Hills*, Edgewood, Elsmere*, Fort Mitchell, Fort Wright, Independence, Ludlow and Park Hills.

    Pendleton County: Butler* and Falmouth.

    Other trick or treat dates and times in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky
