Will Browns RB Nick Chubb return vs Bengals in NFL Week 7?

Browns running back Nick Chubb is expected to make his season debut when the Cincinnati Bengals visit Cleveland in NFL Week 7, according to a report from Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot .

The Browns designated Chubb to return from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list October 3, meaning he has a 21-day practice window, allowing NFL teams to let inactive players practice before adding them to the active roster.

The Browns have until October 23 to activate Chubb or keep him on the PUP list for the rest of the season.

Chubb has been a limited participant in the Browns' practices this past week.

When Chubb was carted off in September 2023 with a season-ending knee injury during the second quarter of the Browns' Monday Night Football loss in Pittsburgh, Cleveland turned to former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Jerome Ford to carry the load at running back.

Ford was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a hamstring injury.

Chubb has had at least 100 rushing yards in six of the 10 games he's played against the Bengals.
