New York Giants receiver Darius Slayton suffered an apparent injury during the third quarter of the NFL Week 6 game against the Cincinnati Bengals on NBC's Sunday Night Football at MetLife Stadium.

Slayton was going for a catch in the end zone, defended by Bengals defensive back DJ Turner. Slayton's head hit the turf hard after colliding with Turner, who was called for defensive pass interference.

Slayton went to the blue tent for evaluation. The Giants announced via Twitter that Slayton was evaluated for a concussion and cleared. He returned to the game for the Giants' next offensive series.

Slayton, in his sixth season with the Giants, was playing in his sixth game of the season for the team. He's had at least 700 receiving yards in four of his first five NFL seasons.

The Giants already were without leading receiver Malik Nabers and leading rusher Devin Singletary.
