The Buffalo Bills traded for Cleveland Browns receiver Amari Cooper ahead of the Browns' NFL Week 7 AFC North matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Huntington Bank Field.

In the trade announced Tuesday , the Bills received Cooper and a 2025 sixth-round pick with the Browns receiving a third-rounder in 2025 and a seventh-rounder in 2026.

Cooper led the Browns in receptions (24) and receiving yards (250) through six games this season.

Cooper played three games for the Browns against the Bengals. He had five catches for 131 yards with a touchdown in an Oct. 2022 win; two catches for 42 yards in a Dec. 2022 loss; and three catches for 37 yards in a Sept. 2023 win.

The Bills are Cooper's fourth NFL team since his rookie season of 2015. He played for the Raiders for 52 games over four seasons, the Cowboys for 56 games over four seasons and the Browns for 38 games over three seasons.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said the team is sticking with Deshaun Watson at starting quarterback despite a 1-5 start.

Running back Nick Chubb reportedly is expected to make his season debut for Cleveland against the Bengals on Sunday.

The Bengals host the Browns for Thursday Night Football in NFL Week 16 in December. The Bengals are not scheduled to face the Bills during the regular season.
