Bengals vs. Eagles flexed out of late afternoon slot, kickoff changed to 1 p.m.

The Cincinnati Bengals (2-4) Week 8 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) on Oct.27 will now start at 1 p.m. instead of 4:25 p.m. ET, the NFL announced on Tuesday.

This Week 8 matchup was flexed out of the early afternoon window so the NFL could put the Washington Commanders versus the Chicago Bears in the desired later afternoon slot. Philadelphia and Cincinnati are both not having the seasons the schedule makers envisioned when they created the schedule in May and flexing this game to 1 p.m. is the result of that.

Cincinnati hits the road to take on the Cleveland Browns this weekend for a critical AFC North showdown.
