JD Vance on Graeter's Skyline Chili ice cream: 'President Trump and I will stop this'

Update: Sarah Walters – senior director of public relations for Rmd Advertising, which represents Graeter's – told The Enquirer the Skyline Chili ice cream "flavor was concept art and is not available or in production."

In a statement, Sarah Sicking, vice president of marketing and brand engagement at Skyline Chili, said, “Yes, Skyline is excited to be working on a fun collaboration with our spice blend and Graeter’s ice cream. We all know Graeter’s makes everything delicious, and creating a unique ice cream blend takes time. We are in the research and development phase with Graeter’s, and we hope it's ready next year.”

According to Kroger's website , the two local chains appear to have collaborated on a new eyebrow-raising flavor, described as a "daring fusion of flavors." Per the site, the unusual ice cream flavor is infused with chili spices, crunchy oyster crackers and shreds of cheese swirled throughout, providing a "tangy contrast to the sweet treat."

Vance, an Ohio senator and Middletown native , commented on the new flavor in an X/Twitter post writing, "President Trump and I will stop this."

Sarah Walters, senior director of public relations for Rmd Advertising, which represents Graeter's, confirmed that the ice cream chain and Skyline Chili are discussing a possible collaboration. However, she would not confirm nor deny news centered around the specific ice cream flavor listed on Kroger's site.

The Enquirer reached out to reps with Skyline Chili and Kroger and is awaiting responses.
