The description starts off well enough for a Thanksgiving dinner : "Roasted turkey with green beans, crispy onions, dried cranberries & a gravy drizzle ..." But then it takes a turn: "... on a Detroit style crust."

You read that right. DiGiorno is bringing back its Thanksgiving pizza . Here's how to get one.

DiGiorno's creation, introduced in 2023, puts traditional Thanksgiving dishes on a pizza crust with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. According to Food & Wine , the idea was to not relegate those foods to one day a year, and make them more easily accessible.

"From Friendsgiving parties to Turkey Day tables, we're thrilled to provide a bold new way to appreciate the traditional Thanksgiving spread," Kimberly Holowiak, DiGiorno senior brand manager, said in a 2023 statement via PR Newswire . "Our passion is pizza, and we are always looking for unique ways to infuse the fresh-baked taste of DiGiorno into moments of celebration – even the most traditional holiday dinners."

Delish finds DiGiorno's creation questionable, especially green beans and cranberries on a pizza. Instead of whole cranberries, the publication would have preferred a cranberry drizzle. And, it says green beans only belong in a casserole.

"We're all for a sweet and savory combination done right, but we're struggling to see DiGiorno's vision here," the publication wrote.

DiGiorno Thanksgiving Pizza coming to Kroger, Kroger-owned stores

Last year, the Thanksgiving pizza was only available online, according to a statement from DiGiorno. But this year, it's coming to Kroger and Kroger-owned stores , food influencer and reviewer @snackolator reports on Instagram .

According to Delish and Food & Wine, the suggested retail price is $9.99, but that could vary by store. In 2023, the price was $11.23, the date of Thanksgiving that year.

But don't wait; the pizza sold out last year. According to Food & Wine, DiGiorno is now marketing the pizza as a fan-favorite because it ran out of inventory.
