The Cincinnati Bengals (2-4) face the AFC North rival Cleveland Browns (1-5) in NFL Week 7 at Huntington Bank Field Sunday afternoon.

Cincinnati is coming off its second win of the season last week and Cleveland is coming off a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

    Bengals vs Browns prediction, odds

Odds according to BetMGM as of Friday afternoon.

    • Spread: Bengals by 5.5 (-115).
    • Moneyline: Bengals -250, Browns +200.
    • Point total over/under: 41.5 (-110).

Kelsey Conway , Enquirer Bengals beat reporter: Cincinnati has to eventually beat the Browns in Cleveland when the game matters but I don't see it happening this year. The Bengals will struggle to protect Burrow and lose to the Browns in a slugfest. Browns 21, Bengals 17

Jason Williams , Enquirer sports columnist: Entering the season, no one projected the Battle of Ohio to turn into a Battle of the Bad. But here we are. The Browns are a mess, but they get running back Nick Chubb back after the heart-and-soul team leader went down early last season with a devastating knee injury. Who knows how much he'll contribute on the field. But Chubb's presence may be enough to bolster the Browns. And they're at home, where they haven't lost to Cincinnati since 2017. Browns 20, Bengals 17

Charlie Goldsmith , Enquirer pro sports reporter: While the Browns’ pass rush remains one of the most intimidating units in the NFL, their secondary looks more vulnerable than it has been in recent seasons. The Bengals can win several matchups on that side of the ball, and the Browns’ offense has been spiraling all year. Bengals 20, Browns 10

Jason Hoffman , Enquirer sports editor: Joe Burrow said it best this week when he told reporters "this is one that we need." Burrow, winless in Cleveland, is playing some of his best football as a pro, but the Bengals have yet to put a complete game together. The Browns are on the brink of a lost season, but have given Burrow and the Bengals' offense fits. However, the momentum continues for Zac Taylor's team and the Bengals will finally break through and get their first win in Cleveland since 2017. Bengals 31, Browns 13
