Former Xavier Musketeers standout Quincy Olivari has made his mark in the NBA.

Signed to an Exhibit-10 contract with the Los Angeles Lakers after going undrafted in June, Olivari has signed a two-way NBA contract with the team, according to a report from ESPN's Shams Charania .

Last week, Olivari earned high praise from Lakers' head coach J.J. Redick and superstar LeBron James for his 11-point, 5-rebound performance in a comeback preseason victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

In Friday's preseason loss to the Golden State Warriors, Olivari had a game-high 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting, knocking down five 3-pointers while adding seven rebounds.

Olivari got emotional in a postgame press conference talking about meeting his idol Steph Curry.

In four preseason appearances, Olivari is averaging 8.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 52.2% from the field and 57.1% from beyond the arc.

Xavier fans are familiar with Olivari's abilities from downtown. In his lone season with the Musketeers, Olivari set the school's single-season record for 3-pointers (106) in 34 games. He was an honorable mention all-conference selection and surpassed 2,000 career collegiate points.

Olivari was named second-team All-District 5 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and was selected to the Division I East All-Stars for the 2024 NABC-Reese's Division I College All-Star Game.
