In the early 1980s, Jim Scott and I would play golf, and we played a very simple game. If I lost, I paid $100 to the charity of Jim's choice, and if I won, the money went to a charity of my choice. Simple.

We also liked to prank each other a little bit. Jim got me good one time, but I turned the tables on him. There was a manager at Piedmont Airlines who looked just like the actor Billy Dee Williams. You would've thought it was his brother. I asked Jim one day if he'd like to meet Billy Dee Williams because he and I were having lunch, and Jim could join us. We had about a two-hour lunch with this Billy Dee Williams look-a-like, all because Jim had a bunch of questions about Star Wars.

The next morning, I was driving from Beckett Ridge in West Chester Township to downtown Cincinnati and listening to Jim on the radio talking on and on about his conversation with Billy Dee Williams. Of course, silently, I was laughing and enjoying it so very much.

About six months later, Jim and I were playing golf at Beckett Ridge. On the 18th hole, the game was tied. I asked Jim if he remembered our luncheon with Billy Dee Williams, then I broke the news. Needless to say, my charity got the $100 that day.
