Inclement weather is expected Wednesday night, and that could mean cancellations for the multiple firework shows happening around Greater Cincinnati.
The National Weather Service's detailed forecast for Wednesday night indicates that showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly before midnight, as well as a 60% chance of precipitation. Cincinnati may experience possible rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch. The forecast also calls for wind at 5 to 9 mph before becoming calm after midnight.

Fairfield canceled the 6 p.m. Circus Show at Village Green due to weather. However, the city announced just after 7p.m. that the rain had passed and the firework show is still on track for a 10 p.m. start time at Harbin Park.

The City of Florence announced at 7:30 p.m. that it has canceled its Independence Day Celebration Concert. However, the city said its firework show is still on schedule for 10 p.m.

In a comment on its most recent Facebook post, the township said, "Folks, as of 6:50 p.m. we are still planning on continuing as scheduled this evening. This batch of rain looks to be moving out, and for now, we do not see anything behind it. Party on!"
Madeira
Madeira delayed their parade at least 15 minutes due to weather, according to their Facebook page. The parade will start as soon as units are assembled. As of 7 p.m., the city's firework show at 10 p.m. is still on.
