Professional athletes are often at the cutting edge of technology when it comes to rehabilitation and performance as they work to keep their bodies in peak physical condition.

This offseason, as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burow works to get his body back into shape following a season filled with missed time due to injury, he's looking for ways to improve his performance and maintain his health.

Burrow, however, is going back to an old-school version of keeping his body in shape that may seem a bit unconventional to most athletes who use technology to improve. The Bengals QB is looking for music to help him.

According to a recent interview on Complex Sports , Burrow is learning the piano in order to help strengthen his wrist.

Burrow's season ended in November of 2023 after suffering multiple torn ligaments in his wrist, and he's been working to get back to full strength since. It's a somewhat difficult muscle group to strengthen since it's so finite and small. But playing the piano might be the most entertaining way to go about getting stronger, bringing music to the world while you're at it.

We'll see if it works once the 2024 season rolls around in a few weeks.
