ARLINGTON, Texas – Cincinnati Reds fans watching tonight's MLB All-Star Game won't want to miss the fifth inning.

That's when Reds ace Hunter Greene is scheduled to pitch for the National League in his first All-Star appearance, following Chicago Cubs left-hander Shota Imanaga, who gets the fourth inning for the NL.

“It’ll be good,” the Reds' right-hander said. “It’ll be a different angle for the hitters I don’t know if it’ll be the same hitters, but…”

Pittsburgh Pirates rookie phenom Paul Skenes is the NL starter, making the first half of the game a showcase of National League Central arms.

Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz, the team's other All-Star, said before the game he has not been told when he might play. Trea Turner of the Phillies is the NL's starting shortstop.
