Ever wanted to see Fritz or Fiona carved on a pumpkin?

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden announced a new holiday tradition featuring thousands of carved pumpkins this fall. And you can bet that many of these pumpkins will feature adorable zoo animals.

The event, called "Jack O’ Lantern Glow," will be the largest illuminated pumpkin show in Greater Cincinnati, the zoo said. More than 5,000 pumpkins will be on display at the zoo and all of them will be hand-carved and decorated by local artists.

Like the Festival of Lights, this "family-friendly" event is an immersive walkthrough experience.

The pumpkins are displayed along a half-mile trail, which will take an average of 35 to 45 minutes to finish, the zoo said.

Jack O’ Lantern Glow will be available on select days in October. The festivities require timed tickets that are available for purchase online only.
