Beam us up, Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Museum Center is going interstellar for its next Off the Rails night.

Off the Rails is a 21+ series that allows guests to explore the museum after hours and enjoy themed programming and food, as well as a cash bar. “Off the Rails: Intergalactic Edition” will feature lightsaber battles performed by the Ohio Renaissance Festival, Kantina Karaoke from Tokyo Kitty, a sci-fi costume contest and more.

The cosmic party runs from 7-10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8. Guests are invited to dress the part and cosplay as their favorite space opera or other intergalactic-inspired character. The bar will feature themed cocktails and treats, including the “Buzzed Aldrin” and “Space Cowboy.”

The Museum of Natural History & Science will be open, and DJ Chandler will be spinning space jams and other tunes in the Rotunda. You can also meet Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion and take in an inflatable planetarium show or an OMNIMAX screening of Deep Sky .

Off the Rails tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. You can buy yours here .

Cincinnati Museum Center, 1301 Western Ave., West End. More info: cincymuseum.org .
